We often accuse our stars of not taking a clear stand, and of being non-political. So, it makes sense that when they decide to support a cause, we highlight it too. Actor Aamir Khan has written a letter to PM Dr. Manmohan Singh and has expressed his support for Anna Hazare on Jan Lokpal Bill. And the second letter is addressed to Anna Hazare. Read on…

  1. rushabh says:

    wonderful job by Aamir khan.

  2. Raj says:

    Good Work Aamir Khan !!

  3. subroto says:

    honest effort.

  4. Tejadithya says:

Iam really sorry to say this… Iam may be small in experience in all issues… but our people are much energetic when this kind of issues raise.. for next couple of weeks people forgets who Hazare ji is.. even media… Change should from hearts not from society actions….

  5. It is high time there was a act to try these politicians waiting to squander the country and escaping without any punishment our full support to Anna Hazare .Please let us know the person in Chennai where we could register to join this movement.

  6. Hello,

I appreciate Amir’ work for Anna.

Thanks amir for showing your intrest in politics as well.

  7. chander says:

Aamir has broken the ice setting example for luminaries in all fields to come out of their shells & shoulder responsibilities as national citizens “instead of just standing in the audience & watching the show”.

Aamir has triggered the filmy fraternity/other luminaries indicating when public(citizens)dutifully always admires their show from the audience. Then they/actors should also refrain from being passive sitting in audience when their role as leaders is most anticipated & welcome..so the candle seems to have been lit..let’s now watch further & responsible show from fraternity & luminaries in all other fields..!

  8. […] “I am one over a billion citizens of this country, who is affected by, and most concerned about corruption in our country. The last few months have witnessed some shocking exposes. In fact, our society has been plagued by this sickness over the last many decades. I am one of the many who feel that strong steps need to be taken as corrective measures” (Source: Moifightclub blog) […]

  9. sunil says:

Anna You are a BHAGWAN a great crusader against corruption. You showed your machoness against the so called impotent corrupted leaders. Good you declared war against corruption in Pune where govt /farmlands /defence lands have been grabbed by builders like the crimal BRAMHA BUILDERS RAM and AJAY AGARWAL who are welknown for raping, land grabbing from farmers, widow ladies, from orphans. Residency club has beenbuilt on defence land. Le Meridian has been built illegally and the agarwals boast that they can buy entire police department, judiciary, politicians, chief ministers, home ministers,Prime minister Manmohan singh, Sonia gandhi, Atal bihari vajpayee, lal krishna advani, suresh kalmadi. He is welknown for his talks to people that he passes the money from down to the the top. Annaji people have been forcibily evicted from their homes on gun point and their land have grabbed. Annaji we want to end the system of tyranny, rape, loot, forcefull grabing lands, also government lands. He says every govt person has a price tag and they can be purchased or sold. Every police, minister, collector has a price tag. Every one is saleable in India because of corruption.

  10. kukkumol says:

A word for the government too. Just what exactly are you thinking when you are trying to shove an impotent law down people’s throats? And what makes you feel that threatening, crushing or insulting Anna will take away people’s need to rid India of corruption? Anna did not create an anti-corruption sentiment, he merely tapped into it. Crushing Anna will not take away that sentiment. It will just make it fester more. Right now, the movement is still controlled. By going back on your word, displaying arrogance and not listening to the people, you are risking the country’s descent into chaos. Be careful. Accountability is much easier to deal with than anarchy. Fix the Lokpal Bill now, please.

Finally, for the people of India, it is time to prove Uncle Cynic wrong. There is a bigger truth than his ‘nothing ever changes in India’. That truth comes from the Gita, which states “Nothing is permanent”. The Gita also says, “When the pot of sin overflows, something happens to restore order.” Now, it is up to you to determine if the pot of sin has overflowed. It is for you to say what it means for Indians to act out their dharma. And you, and only you, will decide if it is time to come on the streets.
