Back to Dibakar’s. It’s based on a short story by Satyajit Ray titled Patol Babu Filmstar. Though the basic idea is the same Dibakar has added many new elements to it and given it a new setting too. Do read.

I think Satyajit Ray wrote these(short stories) in Bengali.
Later they were translated to English by Gopa Majumdar.
I have read almost his short stories collection which I think are a must read for everyone – “Indigo” and “Strangers”.
