Few months back, Dev Benegal posted the script of his film Road, Movie on his website. But if you missed it, we are posting it here again. Simply because we try to gather and post as many hindi film scripts as we can and all at one place. The screenplay of the film was selected for the L’Atelier section at the Cannes Film Festival 2006. ( Click here to read his interview on the same)

I didn’t like the film much. Thought it was pure desi exotica for the west but it had lot of interesting stuff. But whether you like a film or not, reading a script is always going to help. So, here you go – download and happy reading.

For all its flaws and a hundred diversions, I thought this film had an inherent charm to it and it did work for me. Glad the script is up. PS: Humein ‘No Smoking’ script kab milegi?

in the film there is a masseur that dev wanted to be like a johhny walker coming out of the screen in the mela…and in the end the same hair oil and the same masseur appear by the sea and a changed Vishnu gets it applied on his head.
it was never the part of script and on set, he came up with this idea and asked me to be that masseur. I thought this would be a great start to my acting career and i will no more have to take local trains – but alas! 🙂 –
apart from that dev is the best teacher that i have came across in the la la bollywood and showbaaz land.
