Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender – pics and plot

Paramount Pictures has released the first pic of M Night Shyamalan’s new film The Last Airbender. 
Based on the Nickelodeon animated TV series, the film is set in a world where human civilization is divided into four nations: Water, Earth, Air and Fire.
The Fire Nation is waging a ruthless, oppressive war against the other three nations. The film’s hero, the reluctant young Aang, is the “Last Airbender” — the Avatar who, according to prophecy, has the ability to manipulate all of the elements and bring all the nations together.
Dev Patel plays the main villain Prince Zuko, Prince of the Fire Nation, a firebender (see the next post for Dev Patel’s look in the film) who can manipulate flames. The Last Airbender is set to hit theaters on July 2nd 2010.

Dev Patel stars in M Night Shyamalan’s new film The Last Airbender and the first pic is out. In the film, Dev plays the role of main villain Zuko, a firebender who manipulates flames. Patel has a black belt in taekwondo and it helped him in bagging the role.
