Aha, this seems like the perfect pitch for its theatrical release in India. We love it, except the title font and its colour, which looks little bland in the middle of all that chaos. For us, its “days of being wild & pains of growing up” and the poster seems to have captured that.

The lead actor is Rajat Barmecha, who looks a lot like Imran Khan and acts million times better than him. For our review of Udaan click here, for Vikramaditya Motwane & Anurag Kashyap’s video interviews here, for earlier poster/pics/synopsis of the film here and for all the Cannes jazz here.

    Disappointed with the poster :(.
Doesn’t look like a story of someone from Jamshedpur. Who the fuck used to read superman in 90s in Jamshedpur. I was a teenager during the mid 90s who has grown in a place called Dhanbad, just few miles away from Jamshedpur. Would have loved to see graphitis of Super Commando Dhruv, Ludo, Amitabh Bachchan, cricket(esp sachin) instead of things like Superman, love, lingerie, booze. These are the things which came into my life when I moved to college. School life was devoid of such things.

Add things like sherlock holmes etc which used to occupy my mind as a teenager in school

A little cluttered. Could have done with a better and more standout title font. Nice, otherwise. Looking forward to this.
