Here is the trailer of a new film called Emotional Atyachar – The film and two posters of other two new films – Jhootha Hi Sahi & Action Replayy.

Emotional Atyachar – the film is directed by debutant Akshay Shere and stars Ranvir Shorey, Vinay Pathak, Mohit Ahalawat, Kalki Koechlin, Abhimanyu Singh and Ravi Kissen.

Jhootha Hi Sahi is directed by Abbas Tyrewala and stars John Abraham and Pakhi (Abbas’s wife). But why is Pakhi missing from the first poster ? Isn’t this her big debut ? Any conspiracy theory ? Action Replayy is by Vipul Shah and stars Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

If Apne wasn’t enough, the Deols are back again! This time with  director Sameer Karnik and actress Kulraj Randhawa. And if you are wondering whats the title is about, well, we are guessing its three adjective for three Deols. If you can’t read the text, click on the pic.

And here is the unofficial synopsis of the film…Dharmendra and Bobby  Deol play a crooked father-son based in Varanasi. Sunny Deol plays a Canada based upright man who gets to know after two decades that he has a father and brother in Varanasi. The film is about Sunny’s journey to his past and finally apne to apne hote hai!

And if the background music and the song in the trailer is any indication of the film to come, well, its time for #BOJam (Inspired by #MeterJam). Again! Southern Superstar Surya makes his bolly debut with this one. Plus,  it has the bolly superstar (atleast he thinks he is) Vivek Oberoi alongwith Priyamani, Shatrughan Sinha, Abhimanyu Singh and Radhika Apte.

Whats more, its in two parts. So, two movies, back to back, one after another in just few weeks. Get ready. Seriously!

That Girl in Yellow Boots is a thriller tracing Ruth’s (Kalki Koechlin) search for her father – a man she hardly knew but cannot forget. Desperation drives her to work without a permit, at a massage parlour. Torn between several schisms, Mumbai becomes the alien but yet strangely familiar backdrop for Ruth’s quest. She struggles to find her independence and space even as she is sucked deeper into the labyrinthine politics of the city’s underbelly. A city that feeds on her misery, a love that eludes her and above all, a devastating truth that she must encounter. And everyone wants a piece of her.

Do let us know what do you think about it.

We are not sure who designed the poster of Anjaana Anjaani but we are sure about one thing – its a straight lift from An Education. Just check out both the posters. Need we say more! Tip by @damoviemaniac. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and stars Ranbir Kapoor & Priyanka Chopra.

And to check out its theatrical trailer and to know its original source from where it has taken the inspiration, click here. We have put a bet! The goss from crew of Anjanaa Anjaani is that they have take the basic story idea from The Girl On The Bridge and have Bollywoodised it by adding naach-gaana & Las Vegas!

And here is the poster of An Education….

The first trailer of Ranbir Kapoor & Priyanka Chopra starrer Anjaana Anjaani is out. Its directed by Siddharth Raj Anand.

According to its wiki page, here is the synopsis of the film…

Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are trying to find luck in their life after several failed attempts to be successful in their careers and in love. Fed up, they both decide to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge. However, both land up on the same bridge at the same time.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

And here is our bet – though we dont know much about the film but from the synopsis and few scenes in the trailer its easy to predict that its plagiarised from The Girl On The Bridge (In French – La Fille Sur Le Pont ). And here is a scene from the original one. BTW, do watch it

OMG! OMFG! Its finally here! Rajini Saar! And Aishwarya Madame! And director is Shankar Saar! Need we say more! (  Just count the number of non-stop exclamation marks we have put) Three trailers of Endhiran – The Robot is finally out. A R Rahman has done the music for the film. Check it out.

Our favourite – from 0:49 to 0:52 – He is unbelievable! He is like a super hero!

Our favourite bit – Neutron. Electron & I am yours!

2009 – He scored a hattrick. Dev D. Gulaal. Paanch. Commercial success. Critical acclaim. And even his unreleased film Paanch found its way out.

2010 – He has done it again! Cannes. Toronto. Venice – A hattrick of different sorts !

Udaan @Cannes Film Festival – Vikramaditya Motwane’s debut film – a film which nobody was willing to back and was even rejected by UTV twice. Anurag decided to produce it himself and almost everyone branded it as a suicidal step. Na sex hai na star na Shah Rukh Khan! Well, the film still made it to the official selection of Cannes Film Festival and was one of the best rated films of the year.  Do watch it if you havent seen this gem yet! Whats more, it has even managed to recover its cost.

That girl In Yellow Boots @Venice/Toronto International Film Festival – It was the same story again. He was looking for 10 crore to produce three films (Udaan, That Girl In Yellow Boots and Tumbad) and the suited-booted MBA morons had the same answer – Its a suicide! Get a star and you can take 50 crore. Why only 10 crore ? When the marketing budget of the dud of the year Raavan is Rs 28 crore, what can you do in just 10 cr ? And so, Anurag decided to produce it himself again. Aah cinema. Ooh life! Being Uncompromised!

The film will have its world premiere at the Venice International film Festival. And will have the North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. To read more about the film and the fest, click here. Is this his career’s best year ? Seems so. We are not aware of any other such story.

For Udaan, UTV came onboard later on and it managed to reach the theatres and got the visibility it deserves. For That Girl In Yellow Boots, NFDC has come onboard. And if our sources are to be believed, his next production Tumhad has finally managed to get funding.

So, will the big boys of Bollylalaland finally sit up and look beyond the Kites & Raavans! Here is the so called cinema’s enfant terrible…give him few crore and some freedom, bet he will deliver more! As one of the popular campaign goes, we wonder, Next is what ?

And there is some more good news. Remember Amit Datta ? If you follow us on Twitter, we have been raving about his films for a long time. His new film Nainsukh has also been selected for the Venice Film Festival and will be shown in Orizzonti category. Cheers to good ol’ cinema!
