Producers VS Multiplexes – Talks fail again

The Deadlock continues. Bollywood’s producers forum ( United Producers Forum)and Multiplexes Assosciation met today to find a solution on the revenue sharing issue. Multiplexes offered 50, 40, 30 percent profit share in 1st, 2nd and 3rd week of the film’s release.

Producers body insisted on 50%. Arguements. Counter arguements. No solution came out. Both the parties walked out finally.

Now, producers are planning to go ahead with their scheduled releases in single screens and the small independent multiplexes. So,  all you film buffs get ready and locate the single screen close to your home. Coming soon.

Rakhi Sawant gets 12,515 marriage proposals!!

rakhisawantWe never believed it. We still dont. 12,515 marriage proposals for Rakhi Sawant ??!! WTF is this ??!! Do we have so many insane men in this country ? Are they all sure that its a marriage proposal and not a fuck buddy proposal ?

When NDTV Imagine announced the show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar, we were ROFL!! Because Rakhi Sawant is drama queen and we love dramas! But this news report gives a new meaning to this drama.

 According to this news report, the city wise break up of the proposals is as follows…

The capital has topped the list of Rakhi’s prospective grooms with 2, 465 entries ( we trust Delhi to be a horny city). Mumbai follows a close second with 1, 980 entries. Most entries are in the broad age group of 18 to 35 ( No rich Daddies??) .

This piece of news should straight go to Ripley’s Believe it or not. We are now waiting for the show to go on air, just to look at the species of men who wants to marry Rakhi. And who knows, Rakhi’s Swayamwar might do the trick for NDTV Imagine. Just imagine!
