Here comes the words of the year 2010! Phurrr…phurr…phur! If this year was Dhen Te Dan, then head back to Bhardwaj bhandaar again for next year’s. The first song promo of Ishqiya is out and its bit disappointing to see “haramzaadi” getting replaced by “sharifzadi” and “sex” is covered up through the phurrr sound! But we are waiting and how!

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Mani Ratnam wanted them together, Vishal Bharadwaj also wanted them, but for some or other reason the films never happened. The two actors are working together for the first time in RajKumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots. A new song from 3 Idiots, featuring both the actors is just out. Those of you who love dissecting the chemistry (or physics/biology) check out the video and let us know what do you think.
The music of the film is by Shantanu Moitra and lyrics by Swanand Kirkire. The song zoobi doobi has retro sixties club number feel to it and the intial hook sounds a lot like Main Hoon Na’s gori gori, which we love. There are few things which nobody does better than Farah Khan!
And if this rewind to bollywood’s sexy sixties club number is a genrae, then our favourite is Woh ladki hai kahan from Dil Chahta Hai. This song is also choreographed by Farah Khan. Bollywood is in her blood! Enjoy!

The first song promo of Paa is out. The song is mudhi mudhi ittefaq se, in the voice of Shilpa Rao. Music is by Ilaiyaraaja and lyrics by Swanand Kirkire. Paa is directed by R Balki and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan & Paresh Rawal.
After all the focus on Amitabh’s new look in the first promo of the film, the song promo is all about Abhishek Bachchan-Vidya Balan. The names in the credit list are quite big but the first song sounds quite unimpressive. Check it out.

What do you do when you have no films in hand ? Turn Producer. And thats the mantra of lot of out-of-work actors. Ask Dino Morea, Sushmita Sen, Sohail Khan among others. And the new kid to join the club is Aftab Shivdasani.
Aftab has started his own production house called Rising Sun Entertainment (Hmm..ambitious!) and their first film Aao Wish Karein is ready for release. Obviously it stars Aftab Shivdasani and his girlfreind Aamna Shariff and is directed by Glen Barreto (Jaane Hoga Kya ? Dont get us wrong. Thats the film he co-directed earlier, rite ? ). The story is about a kid who wants to grow up and suddenly one day his wish comes true.
The first promo of the film is out. All is well except the way they have decided to kill one of our favourite songs…sabse picche hum khade! Check out the video. It doesnt get any more boring than this! The song was earlier used in the film Lets Enjoy.

Its a duet and guess who is the male singer! Hold your breath, its Himesh Reshammiya! Never expected to hear these two voices together (one i can listen in non-stop loop, the other is unbearable).
