Hmm – I guess I’d like to know what the field was – the dates for this award as I recall are hard to figure out.
    .
It has not been much of a year, or year and a half, where Hindi cinema is concerned, but I’d still like to know what the candidates for best film were. At first I thought Rock On was a weird choice – but if integrity of script counts for more here than in some places, I can kind of see it, as that script was exceptionally without holes and inconsistencies.
    .
But – was Dev D in this “year”? Luck By Chance?
    .
And what was Fashion up against? I might give Priyanka a “physical stamina by an actress in a leading role” award but not so sure about acting for this one!!

  2. Manu Warrier says:

I dont agree with the awards that Bollywood films bagged, many other I haven’t seen. But personally the point of an award should be if that artist has raised the bar in that particular field. Not to continue with mediocrity. It’s a sad state of affairs. Arjun R amphal, Kangana, Priyanka ? raising the bar?

  3. areapal says:
