As we have done in the past, this year too we are trying to source the scripts of some of the best films of the year. As most of you know, the scripts of Hollywood films are easily available online, even the unreleased ones. But we don’t have any such database for Hindi or Indian films. So that has been the primary reason for this initiative. And it has been possible because some of the filmmakers have been very supportive about it. It’s only for educational purpose and much like the spirit of the blog, is a complete non-profitable exercise. (ps – we copy-paste this para in every script post 😉

Vikas Bahl’s Queen was one of those rare films which was both critical as well as commercial success. So thanks to good folks at Phantom Films (especially Ranjan Singh) and Vikas Bahl, we are sharing the script of Queen. There are two drafts of it – an older version and a shooting draft. Please do remember that lot of things were improvised on the sets, so it’s a good exercise to see the difference from early draft to shooting draft to the final film.

Do click on the “Scripts” tab on the top right corner of the blog page to access all the other scripts (The Lunchbox, Shahid, Kai Po Che, D Day, Lootera, Kahaani, Ek Main Aur Ek Tu, Agent Vinod, Dev D etc) that we have posted here so far.

Film : Queen

Director : Vikas Bahl

Story & Screenplay : Parveez Shaikh, Chaitally Parmar & Vikas Bahl

Dialogue : Anvita Dutt & Kangana Ranaut

This is bit old news. But since people are still discovering Kangana Ranaut’s latest interviews, am posting it here. I saw her interview with Anupama Chopra, and then the one with Rajeev Masand. In both the interviews, she comes across as smart, candid, funny, and articulate. Honest confessions on life, films, career choices, Bollywood, National Awards, and more. Rare qualities in a bollywood star.

Watch it if you haven’t.

Dear Kangana, whatever you are drinking, please distribute it to your fellow actors too.

Delhi Belly was suppose to be his debut film. And now he is ready with his next one – Game. The trailer of Abhinay Deo’s debut feature Game is out. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Sarah Jane Dias, Jimmy Shergill, Shahana Goswami, Gauhar Khan, Boman Irani and Anupam Kher. Its pitched as a slick edge-of-the-seat whodunit thriller. It has been produced by Excel Entertainment.

Such a long wait! All you Hrithik Roshan fans, enjoy! The theatrical trailer of the film Kites is finally out. So far we have seen only bits and pieces of the film footage which got leaked out from the Cannes market. But now here is the complete trailer. And this one seems to be different from the earlier one.

The film is directed by Anurag Basu, produced by Rakesh Roshan and stars Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori and Kangana Ranaut. It has been ready  for quite sometime but nobody was willing to buy it because the price was damn high. But seems its ready to roll out soon.

The first few seconds of the trailer really scared us. It looks like Blue part 2. And then its Lost in Translation with sea, sun, sex, stunts, bikes, babes, barbara, action and more!

kites11All you Hrithik Roshan fans, its finally here! The first trailer (promo) of Kites!

Produced by Rakesh Roshan and directed by Anurag Basu, Kites has Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles.

The film’s first trailer was showcased at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. But whats the connection between Cannes and Kites ? We didnt get it. Cannes is shit concerned about Kites and we are sure that Roshans feel the same about Cannes. Then ? Well, Reliance got shitload of money and they need to do something with it. So, there they are, at the mecca of film festivals promoting kites for the indian media and whoever else is willing to listen. Anyway, check out the Kites trailer.

(ps : its recorded from tv screen. so the quality is not good and difficult to say anything looking at it now)

We have been waiting to get the breaking news! Even Neil Nitin Mukesh has done one. When will our actresses learn ?

kanganaAccording to Mid-day, Kangana Ranaut has agreed to shoot a nude scene for a Telugu film directed by Puri Jagannath. And as expected, she has been paid a whopping amount for it. The film is currently on floors in Hyderabad.

We always believed that she is the bold one. We love  Kangana for just one reason, the way she says Bastard, oops, its Baasteerd! Check out any film of hers, Gangster, Metro, Woh Lamhe, Raaz2. Nobody says it better than her. Now, we got one more reason to love her!
