A new trailer of debutant Karan Malhotra’s Agneepath has just released. Produced by Karan Johar, this film is an official remake of Mukul Anand’s Agneepath and stars Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra and Rishi Kapoor. Take a look.
And here are few observations…
1. This doesn’t look like the usual KJo film. And that’s a a good start. Dongri? I am not sure if any of the characters from any KJo production ever knew that a place called Dongri exist. Good to see that Dharma Productions is exploring beyond SoBo.
2. Dialogues by Piyush Mishra. Great.
3. Music by Ajay-Atul. The music director duo started with Marathi films and quickly made their mark. Again, good decision to go with Ajay-Atul instead of the usual suspects – Shankar,Ehsaan, Loy or Vishal-Shekhar.
4. More roles for actors like Brijendra Kala and Pankaj Tripathi (is that him in the opening scene?) makes me feel that we are going in right direction.

Totally agree with Rohit…. It has everything On paper for it to be Bonafide success… But only time will tell wat it offers.. Neways trailers are promosing…
Its either gonna be facepalm embarassing or head-ache inducing. We no longer know, understand or remember what angst or anger means. Aur uske upar Ms Priyanka Lips Chopra is there to drive the final nail in the coffin.
Or maybe I’m in a real bitchy mood today.
the ganapati visarjan scene looks inspired from Satya’s climax….the bhajan seems to be inspired from Vastav …plus priyanka’s look seems very similar to that from Kaminey .
sadly sanjay dutt justs sounds thanda for a gita espousing villain. he never intimidates mouthing those lines.
Somebody keeps saying Vijay Dinanath Chouhan. And I ache to see AB, not Hrithik. Sigh. Not gonna work for me.
Murder at Ganpati visarjan. Is this a subconscious tribute to RGV by Kjo’s team?

Chameli…why is Kaif dancing so much, moving so much, smiling so much? Everything abt the item is soooo…too much…
