  2. Vivek says:

Though the effort and skills gone into ESOTSM are to be appreciated, Fight Club seemed a more intelligent take.

  3. Arati Kadav says:

We took 2 days break from our grind of making a feature film to make this. The process of approaching a bollywood distributor/producer has sucked the energy out of us and we were in need for a break. But we had no money to go out to enjoy. We came across this and we called it our team morale event. The inspiration for this came from Michel Gondry’s spoof of taxi driver (http://aratikadav123.blogspot.in/2011/12/simple-pleasures.html)

We shot without a script(bad move) and the idea was just to recreate the scenes and as we edited a sketch of a story came up. It was hell lot of fun to see ourselves in these avataars. Also a behind the scene trivia is that we got a new dog (small 6 weeks old puppy) – who started peeing everywhere due to excitement or whatever reason. It was fun maneuvering around those pee puddles.

Thanks for publicizing the contest guys :)!

Neither really condensed the *entire* film like many people have done in Youtube videos. Still, loved the ESOTSM one. 🙂
