anurag kashyapThe name is Kashyap. Anurag Kashyap. He talks the talks much more than walking the talks. But unlike others, he walks too. And this walking and talking has made him the poster boy of indie, intelligent and daring cinema of bollywood.

The man is much smarter than the filmmaker. He has sold himself, his life, his stories, his thoughts and ofcourse his cinema too. With Dev D’s commercial success, he has proved that intelligent doesnt mean only flop. Now his name symbolises not just his films. Anurag Kashyap, is a brand of cinema now which has a cult following. His  fanboys may be much less in number compared to Shah Rukh Khan’s fans but then how many directors even manages to have fanboys! And his fans can be anything but they cant afford to be dumb. After all, you have to love No Smoking to begin with.

Kashyap will soon be seen presenting True Stories, a film series on real life stories that inspired films, on Fox’s History and Entertainment Channel. Here is the promo for the same. Its looks exciting and we will catch it for sure. But much more interesting is Kashyap in different get ups. Black, white, grey, with and without tie, with and without topi, he looks uncomfortable, and we are ROFL everytime we play the video. Enjoy!

Salman Khan’s 10 ka Dum is back! And with a bang, if the promo of first episode is any indication of things to come. Karisma and Kareena Kapoor are the guests on the first episode.

The dope is that this season of 10 ka dum will mostly focus on celeb guests. Because the last season could not sustain great TRP throughout its full run. So, no more mere mortals like you or us! Its all about celebs now, from non-filmy background also. Mallika Sherawat will be on the show soon and will share the stage with boxer Vijendra Singh.

rakhisawantWe never believed it. We still dont. 12,515 marriage proposals for Rakhi Sawant ??!! WTF is this ??!! Do we have so many insane men in this country ? Are they all sure that its a marriage proposal and not a fuck buddy proposal ?

When NDTV Imagine announced the show Rakhi Ka Swayamwar, we were ROFL!! Because Rakhi Sawant is drama queen and we love dramas! But this news report gives a new meaning to this drama.

According to this news report, the city wise break up of the proposals is as follows…

The capital has topped the list of Rakhi’s prospective grooms with 2, 465 entries ( we trust Delhi to be a horny city). Mumbai follows a close second with 1, 980 entries. Most entries are in the broad age group of 18 to 35 ( No rich Daddies??) .

This piece of news should straight go to Ripley’s Believe it or not. We are now waiting for the show to go on air, just to look at the species of men who wants to marry Rakhi. And who knows, Rakhi’s Swayamwar might do the trick for NDTV Imagine. Just imagine!

Like us, are you guys also ROFL whenever you see the new Vodafone (Hutch) campaign ? If yes, then read on. Vodafone’s last campaign with the pug was a big hit. And if the intial response to their Zoozoo campaign is any indication, its a sureshot blockbuster. Who needs stars to endorse the brand when you have Zoozoos!! Small creatures, big heads and bigger idea.

zoozooAt a time when IPL is on and with so many tv commercials on air, its impossible to get the eyeballs and create the right buzz. So, ladies nad genteman, please put your hands together for Ogilvy India (the brains behind Zoozoo) and Nirvana Films (the production house which executed the plan).

And here is the big question. Are the Zoozoos real or animated ?

Well, we were wrong like everyone else. They are REAL. Yes, real human beings in body suits.

Agencyfaqs has published a detailed story on the making of Zoozoo – from idea level to execution. You can read the article here.

And if you still haven’t seen the Zoozoo tv commercial, then just click on the play button. Its a must watch.

How and why Nauman Sait won MTV Roadies 6.0 ?

For those of you who are mad about Roadies, am sure you guys know it all. The result is already out.  I missed it on sunday and saw the repeat. And for Naumat’s win, i think the credit/discredit goes to Raghu and his brother. Kiri could easily have won the Roadies if he had selected Palak in the final round instead of Nauman. But. And it was a big BUT!

nauman saitWhy ? Because after the first task, suddenly appears Raghu and his brother. They made sure that they convinced Kiri to select Nauman. And not Palak. Why ? Here is my theory. Because they were afraid that if Kiri won it then they would have to go  with a dumb guy as the Roadies winner. He is not the street smart type. He is the geeky kind. How can a show like Roadies have a winner like Kiri ? How can Ragu take it ? And everyone knew that if Kiri had selected Palak, he would have easily won it.

So, the Raghu brothers & co made sure that Kiri selected Nauman. They brainwashed him completely. In this case, if Nauman wins it, atleast they will get a cool looking dude ( who is equally dumb) to be the winner. And their strategy worked! Poor Kiri. Lost it because of Raghu and his brother.

What do you guys think ? Let us know at moifightclub@gmail.com.
