Anu AhujaShe has come out in public in support of her husband Shiney Ahuja. On television channels. Anupam Ahuja or Anu Ahuja, even organised a press conference today. She got her freinds and neighbours together and tried to made it look like a false case. The rape of her maid by Shiney Ahuja. She says that Shiney is completely innocent and he has been framed!

But here is the real dope. Direct from the horse’s mouth. We ofcourse can’t name the horse but here is the goss.

Off the record Anupam Ahuja has confessed that she knows the truth. She thinks Shiney is a dumb guy but he is not a rapist. He surely had sex with the maid but it was with her consent. It was consensual. But Anupam Ahuja will not make the confession public because her priority now is to get Shiney out of jail.

Thats what the buzz is! And trust us, its all true. If you dissect Luck scene by scene, its called plagiarism! Only difference is its bollywoodised (or say bastardised ) version of the two. In Sanjay Gupta style, Luck will be all dhoom dhaam zhoop zhaap! Its directed by Soham Shah ( Kaal ) and stars Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan, Shruti Hasan (debut film), Mithun Chakraborty and Danny Denzongpa.

Some sequences are straight lift from 13 Tzameti and Intacto. Remember the famous spine chilling bulb sequence of 13 Tzameti. The concept has been completely plagiarised, without the bulb.

13 Tzameti is an absolute favourite of ours and its was directed by Gela Babluani when he was only 26 years old! If you havent seen the film yet, you need to watch it now! Don’t miss it. BTW, here is the scene that we are talking about.

The best thing about blogs – we got no censors! And for publicity, the filmwalahs would do anything. The publicists of Pankh leaked out this nude pic of Maradona Rebello. Its a still from the film. Censor Board has not passed the scene and it has been edited out. So all you folks who have been googling Mardona Rebello Nude – here it is! Have a look.

The story of Pankh is similar to the story of child actor Ahsaas Channa (remember the kid in Ramu’s Vastu Shastra/Phoonk….she is not she, we mean, he is always dressed up as a girl. His dad filed a case against the mother for exploiting Ahsaas. For dressing him up as a girl to get more work in films. Nobody had any clue about his gender till the matter reached court)

In similar way, Pankh is about a boy who is treated as a girl by his mother since childhood and how he becomes confused with his sexuality as he grows up. It stars Bipasha Basu, Lilette Dubey, Mahesh Manjrekar and Maradona Rebello in lead role. The film is directed by debutant Sudipto Chattopadhyay and is produced by Sanjay Gupta’s White Feather Films.

Mr Gowariker, you have to laugh at the joke when you are part of the joke!

Ashutosh GowarikerAccording to reports in today’s Mid-day, director Ashutosh Gowariker was damn pissed off at the IIFA Awards (Macau) because Boman Irani and Ritesh Deshmukh took dig at many actors and films while hosting the awards.  On stage, he also questioned how Priyanka Chopra can win the Best Actress Award for Fashion.  The links to the stories are here and here. And we are ROFL since we read these two reports. Why ? Read on, a letter to Mr Gowariker.

Dear Ashu,

Hope you dont mind it. Calling you Ashu. For us and many others, this whole award business is a big farce. Only three kind of people attend the awards – 1) Those who are going to win 2) Those are going to make money by performing some naach gaana 3) Those who don’t have any kind of work.

Mr Gowariker, is this something new to you ? Something that you don’t know ? Itsn’t it all a big joke and simply money making business ? Otherwise why would an award function will have a brand ambassador ? And that too Amitabh Bachchan.

Who handles IIFA Awards ? Its made to sound like some heavy film body  ( India International Film Academy or some shit like that)but at the end of the day its Wizcraft. Just an event management company! With just a single aim – Make money and more money! Indian cinema it isn’t. Its not even hindi cinema. Its just the popular hindi cinema. Films that are all about the stars. Nothing beyond that.

Dear Mr Gowariker, what are you cribbing about ? When you participate in such a farty show, you are part of the joke and when you are part of the joke, just shut up and laugh at the joke. You don’t have a choice.

And talking about wrong choices, did it bother you because Aishwarya Rai didn’t get it ? Or was it because Aishwarya Rai was the main lead in your film Jodha Akbar ? If you are so holier-than-thou, why not raise voice against all the wrong choices ? Why not boycott all the awards show ? Thats much better! The shows which still don’t bother to respect the talents but just the stars.

Its just a TV show, Mr Gowariker! Get it in your head. Or if its already there, stop pretending!

The more stars they get, more money they will make from tv rights. They have to do naach gaana and crack jokes to make it entertaining. That’s it. So WTF are you talking!

Here is the first look of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Wake Up Sid. The film is produced by Karan Johar, directed by debutant Ayaan Mukherjee and Konkona Sen Sharma stars opposite Ranbir in the film. The story is set in Mumbai and its a love story of an aimless young guy (Ranbir Kapoor) who falls for an older and simple woman (Konkona Sen Sharma), a writer from Kolkata.

WTF: Pritam has done it again!

PritamAccused of plagiarism! And according to news reports, the music composer has hit the half century mark on plagiarism charts with this song. After West, the current trend is to look east for inspiration and Pritam does the same. The song in question is Hai Junoon from Kabir Khan’s New York. Its plagiarised from a song called Naluri Lelaki by an Indonesian band Samsons. Check out the two songs and see if you think the same.

There is an interesting twist in the tale too. It seems singer-composer Pankaj Awasthi revealed the same in the youtube link of the original song by posting a comment there as Awasthiji. But later on the comment was removed “by the author”. Itwofs.com has a screenshot of the page before it was removed. You can check it here.

Pankaj Awasthi is credited as music composer for one song in New York, Aye Saaye Mere. It surely was a brave step on Pankaj’s part to come out and put the comment but then why remove it ?! Was it because of Yashraj Films or Pritam ? We love and respect Pankaj Awasthi’s music, much more than Pritam’s or Yashraj’s, and hope that he gets a fair deal without being threatend for being honest and candid.

Anu AhujaShiney Ahuja’s wife Anu Ahuja came out in public today to support her husband who has been accused in the rape case of his maid. She did some telephonic interviews on news channels and was also present in the court. Her full name is Anupam Ahuja but she is known as Anu Ahuja among her friends and colleagues.

On Shiney Ahuja raping his maid :

Anu Ahuja – Its all rubbish. He has been framed. I am proud to be Mrs Shiney Ahuja and I don’t think that he could have done this even for a minute.

She also dismissed the news about Shiney’s confession in the police station and said that any such confession doesn’t exist. Though she didn’t give much details about her husband’s point of view but its clear that she is by his side.

Who is Anu Ahuja ?

Anu Ahuja used to work in Text 100, a public relations agency specialising in Technology PR, in Mumbai. Soon she moved to New York to join as the Marketing Head of the Office Tiger, a KPO company. Shiney and Anu were already married then. Recently she quit her job and moved back to Mumbai to start the family. They have a two year old daughter called Arshiya.

New York is directed by Kabir Khan ( Kabul express) and stars John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Katrina Kaif. Its produced by Yashraj Films.

Synopsis :

new yorkNEW YORK is a contemporary story of friendship set against the larger than life backdrop of a city often described as the centre of the world. Omar (Neil Nitin Mukesh) has gone abroad for the first time in his life and soon enough he begins to see and love America through the eyes of his American friends – Sam (John Abraham) and Maya (Katrina Kaif). It is the story of these three friends discovering a new world together.

But one day the world around them changed…

For most of us, larger events in the world are just headlines in the newspapers but these events can change our lives… forever. NEW YORK is one such story of 3 young friends whose beautiful lives are turned upside down by larger events beyond their control.

Roshan (Irfan Khan) – is an FBI undercover agent of South Asian descent who is ready to go to any lengths to protect the freedom that he believes everybody in America enjoys.
