Like us, are you guys also ROFL whenever you see the new Vodafone (Hutch) campaign ? If yes, then read on. Vodafone’s last campaign with the pug was a big hit. And if the intial response to their Zoozoo campaign is any indication, its a sureshot blockbuster. Who needs stars to endorse the brand when you have Zoozoos!! Small creatures, big heads and bigger idea.
At a time when IPL is on and with so many tv commercials on air, its impossible to get the eyeballs and create the right buzz. So, ladies nad genteman, please put your hands together for Ogilvy India (the brains behind Zoozoo) and Nirvana Films (the production house which executed the plan).
And here is the big question. Are the Zoozoos real or animated ?
Well, we were wrong like everyone else. They are REAL. Yes, real human beings in body suits.
Agencyfaqs has published a detailed story on the making of Zoozoo – from idea level to execution. You can read the article here.
And if you still haven’t seen the Zoozoo tv commercial, then just click on the play button. Its a must watch.
The normal excuse for people like us is, “What can I do. My vote alone is not going to change everything,” but it does. If you think your vote alone can’t change everything then get your neighbourhood together. Motivate mohallah groups and committees to become a part of the process. And then together sit down and decide who to vote for.

Why ? Because after the first task, suddenly appears Raghu and his brother. They made sure that they convinced Kiri to select Nauman. And not Palak. Why ? Here is my theory. Because they were afraid that if Kiri won it then they would have to go with a dumb guy as the Roadies winner. He is not the street smart type. He is the geeky kind. How can a show like Roadies have a winner like Kiri ? How can Ragu take it ? And everyone knew that if Kiri had selected Palak, he would have easily won it.
What we know : Mani Ratnam’s Raavan is modern day adaptation of the epic Ramayana. Like Shakespeare’s Othello became Omkara, Raavan is set somewhere in the north and has a rural backdrop. Abhishek Bachchan plays the lead character ( Raavan) who kidnaps Aishwarys Rai ( Sita) and eventually Sita falls for him. Tamil star Vikram plays the role of Ram. Govinda’s role is inspired by Hanuman, Ravi Kissan plays Abhishek’s aide and Nikhil Dwivedi plays a cop.
What we just got to know : Priyamani, the national award winning actress from film Paruthiveeran plays the role of Shoorpanakha.
ExTerminators is a dark comedy and revolves around Alex (Graham), a lonely accountant whose one act of rage results in her being sentenced to court ordered therapy. There she meets Stella (Coolidge), the owner of a small extermination business who uses her car as a weapon, and Nikkie (Heard), a dental technician with the face of an angel and the mind of a sociopath. Together these women will form their own “silent revolution” wrecking havoc on the abusive men in their lives.

Go watch this movie. If not for anything, just the satisfaction value it offers by being crazy. If in Indian context our justification to make dreamy films is to say people don’t want to use their grey cells while watching films, this challenges every sense of logic you may have. Support this film – a very unoriginal effort – if that is the way you like your cinema.
Well the intial buzz suggests the same. Its an insane film fron the crazy guy Shashank Ghosh. If gossipmongers are to be believed, Shashank is quite frustrated because the film is complete and its release has not been scheduled yet. 20th Century Fox has bought the rights of the film and has been sitting on its cans for quite sometime. Why ? How ? Even Shashank doesn’t have any clue.
